Event Title
The Unexpected Threat: The Rise of Cyber Partisanship and its Impact on Critical Infrastructure

Speakers
Christiaan Beek, Lead Scientist, Principal Engineer of Trellix Threat Labs
Pat Flynn, Head, Trellix Advanced Programs Group

Event Description
In January 2022, McAfee Enterprise and FireEye integrated their respective organizations to form Trellix. Through this integration, Trellix is focused on delivering one singular mission: to deliver living security to build resilient and confident organizations. Trellix believes in the power of “alive” and “embedded” cybersecurity that learns and adapts as fast as threat actors do – turning today’s threats into tomorrow’s advantage. This talk will provide a look into how the Trellix organization utilizes these insights to provide strategic advantages to decision-makers and cyber warriors. It will give attendees an understanding of how recent global events have given rise to a shift in the thinking of persistent threats; offering intelligence into how these actors are now forming – en masse – to direct their actions and unique skills toward global threats on a geopolitical stage.
