What We Do & How It Works

As a Consortium Manager, SOSSEC, Inc. facilitates the working relationship between the government and member companies. SOSSEC, Inc. currently manages over 900 member companies across nine OTAs. We make every effort to help non-traditional companies overcome barriers to entering the DoD marketplace, grow and evolve into self-sufficient performers in the DoD industrial base.

  • General Membership Meetings

SOSSEC, Inc. holds a general membership meeting on at least an annual basis to discuss OTA status, capability gaps and related opportunities, DoD policy changes, new services, and lessons learned. We also hold networking sessions to connect government, traditional and non-traditional members.

  • Mentorship Opportunities

SOSSEC, Inc. provides mentorship to its many non-traditional and small business members. Mentorship opportunities come in the form of one-on-one instructional sessions, as well as group seminars that offer guidance on solicitation response compliance, contract management, program management, requirement management, and day-to-day business challenges.

  • Diversity and Competition

In order to provide the best possible service and deliverables of the highest quality, the SOSSEC Consortium features a diverse and continuously growing cast of over 900 members, consisting of traditional and nontraditional firms, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations.
