Event Description
Alluvionic, a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)-Accreditation Body (AB) Registered Provider Organization (RPO), will conduct a Cyber Talk on the current state of CMMC. In addition to updates since the last CMMC Cyber Talk w/DCO/SOSSEC in Oct 2020, this Cyber talk will be delivered by CMMC-AB Registered Practitioners (RP) that have been actively engaged in over 40 CMMC gap analyses during the last year and a half.
Topics of discussion will include background and present state, compliance targets, non-compliance, as well as past performance findings/concerns, gaps, and most importantly, lessons learned. There will be some discussion around the DoD’s recent announcement of “CMMC 2.0”, outlining updated program structure and requirements. Whether you’re a government employee or part of the defense industrial base (DIB) supply chain, understanding CMMC compliance is vital.
